Date For Your Diary - Deepdale Christmas Market
We know it’s far too early to be talking about Christmas, but we wanted you to have the dates in your diary – Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December.
With almost all the
stall spaces and much of the entertainment booked, Deepdale Christmas Market is
shaping up for another fantastic year.
This year we are building on the
success of the previous years, expanding the number of stalls, extending the
size of the Orchard Marquee, increasing the lunchtime food offering and St
Mary’s Church are joining us too, hosting stalls, activities and entertainment.
Of course we will have an excellent range of stalls, selling high quality
inspiring presents, lovely decorations and delicious food & drink.
The Deepdale Christmas Market
opens its doors at 10am on both Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th
December, with the entertainment starting at 11am on both days.
This year some of our regular
favourites are returning, such as Lymn Bank Farm Cheese with their mouth
watering range of cheeses, Brancaster Brewery with their delicious ales, James
Buttifant and his penguins, and The Chocolate Deli with their Christmas themed
goodies. We’re sure everyone who’s been before will look forward to seeing the
mix of new and regular stalls, as we have a wonderful range of new stalls
joining us. For first time visitors, we are certain they won’t be disappointed
by the range and diversity of the offering.
Of course the permanent shops and
café of Dalegate Market will be open, as they are all year. Their clothing,
souvenirs, nature watching equipment, pottery, art, jewellery, accessories and
the food from Deepdale Café and Keshco's Supermarket are worth visiting in any
season or weather. We just like to give extra special reasons to visit, such as
the Deepdale Christmas Market.
The three major changes to the
Market this year are: Expansion of the Orchard Tent, St Mary’s Church hosting
stalls and Far more lunchtime food on offer. The Orchard Tent will double in
size from last year, hosting 27 stalls with everything from bags to toys, whisky
to dog treats, and most presents, decorations, food and drink in between. St
Mary’s Church will host another group of stalls, the ‘Wish Tree’ and be offering
hot drinks throughout the weekend intermingled with carols and shanties. To
keep the stall holders and visitors happy, warm and full, we will have a whole
host of lunchtime food, to be announced during August.
forward to welcoming you to the Deepdale Christmas Market on Saturday 7th
& Sunday 8th December at Dalegate Market, Burnham Deepdale on the
beautiful North Norfolk Coast.
