The Pantaloons return for the second of their Summer shows, with their hilarious take on this Lewis Carroll story. Comedy for all the family, a brilliant evening of comedy theatre.
Indoors rather than outdoors
Due to the weather forecast, we've decided to host Alice indoors in our Brick Barn music venue, rather than in the open air of the Orchard.
As usual please park at Dalegate Market (postcode PE318FB) or on the main road or lay-by opposite. Please do not attempt to park at the campsite next door, as there are no spaces there.
If you walk to the back of the Dalegate Market and follow the string lights you will see the Brick Barn. There will be team pointing you in the right direction.
There is no need to bring chairs, as the venue has seating, but you are most welcome to bring picnics, drinks etc as normal. The venue is under cover but not fully enclosed. Well behaved dogs on short leads are very welcome too.
The Nest, a pop up cafe, will be serving until the end of the interval, and the supermarket will also be open until 9pm.
Follow the critically-acclaimed Pantaloons down the rabbit hole for their own hilarious take on Lewis Carroll's nonsensical novel. All the unusual suspects are here: the mirthful Mad Hatter, the perpetually late White Rabbit, the quarrelsome Queen of Hearts and, of course, the adventurous Alice herself. A delightfully anarchic show that gets curiouser and curiouser with live music and audience interaction.
If you've seen The Pantaloons before you know how funny they are, if you haven't you really should experience them!
This will be an open air theatre show in the lovely surroundings of the Deepdale Orchard.
Please bring your own picnics, chairs & rugs (whether outdoor or indoor), and make an evening of this lovely outdoor theatre event.
You can also enjoy food from Deepdale Cafe earlier in the day, Deepdale Stores will be open during most of the performance for extra snacks, or provisions before the show, and The Nest will be serving hot drinks & cakes until the show starts.
