Splendours of the Dark Skies of North Norfolk
Wednesday 18 September 2019
Star gazing begins about 7pm
A great chance to experience the dark skies of North Norfolk, as part of the Dark Sky Festival this time we are holding a star gazing evening at Barrow Common, Brancaster Staithe.
This event is part of the Norfolk Coast Dark Skies Festival, celebrating the dark skies of this beautiful part of the world. A variety of events and activities across the area will allow us to discover the sights and sounds of the AONB after dark and appreciate how the lack of light pollution adds to the feeling of tranquility that makes the coast so special.
King’s Lynn & District Astronomy Society are running this event, and the Norfolk Coast Dark Skies Festival is coordinated by Norfolk Coast Partnership.
To book a place phone John Craythorne 01945 701038 or mobile 07871 181264
The star gazing aspect of the event is weather dependant.
