National Walking Month
Sunday 1 to Tuesday 31 May 2016
When and where you like, but try to walk for at least 20 minutes a day
As the North Norfolk Coast begins to move out
of Covid-19 lockdown, and tourism businesses
re-open, more planned events are taking place.
These are just listings, so please follow links
and check with organisers of events before
assuming events are running.
National Walking Month is all about encouraging people to walk more throughout May - a great excuse to go out walking along the North Norfolk Coast in the Spring sunshine!
May is National Walking Month. Living Streets, the national charity that works to create safe, attractive and enjoyable streets, encourages people to walk anywhere and everywhere.
Throughout May, they hope to show children and adults how easy, enjoyable and rewarding walking is and how it can lead to real changes in people’s habits and lifestyles. For more information visit the Living Streets website.
We recommend walking here on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. You can enjoy the big skies, wide open countryside, glorious coastlines, nature and wildlife.
Why not combine your walk with lovely food & drink at Deepdale Cafe, and if you need anything for your walk the shops of Dalegate Market can provide you with most everything you need.
On our doorstep is the Norfolk Coast Path National Trail, circular walks to Barrow Common and lovely countryside to explore.
